Wat Suthat

Day 2: Walking around and getting adjusted to the 12 hour time difference is a slight challenge. It helps that this city never sleeps. You can walk down any alley and there will be night life and tons of people. It doesn’t look that way from the street. Once you enter, prepare your reserve tank for the night life. We took it easy today, went to another temple (Wat Suthat) and had sticky rice with coconut ice cream. This one wasn’t filled with so many people. It was very quiet and zen like. Kat got blessed by a monk and I entered my name on a gold leaf. They will eventually use these to coat the unfinished (black) Buddha’s. You’ll see a woman coating one with gold leaf in the pics.
